Along with the demands of digitalisation and the issuance of Permen PanRB Number 6 of 2022, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Medan City as a government agency must participate in the successful implementation of performance management through the BKN e-performance application. For this reason, the researcher formulated the problem 'how is the application of the e-performance application for religious education teachers at the primary school level at the Medan City Office of the Ministry of Religion and how the e-performance application can improve teacher behaviour and work results'. The purpose of the research is to describe and analyse the process of implementing the e-performance application by religious education teachers in improving work outcomes and work behaviour. The research method in this study uses qualitative research using Miles and Huberman data analysis. The research subjects were religious education teachers at the primary school level at the Medan City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, with 10 (ten) main informants and 3 (three) key informants as verifiers, namely 1 (one) staffing section and 2 (two) section heads. The results of the study generally show that the implementation of the e-performance application has been carried out but not in accordance with the stages of performance management and the application of the BKN e-performance application can improve the work results and work behaviour of teachers, this is based on the results of interviews conducted on the main informants and key informants. On the other hand, the implementation of the e-performance application is not accompanied by socialisation and training, limited IT skills of teachers, the absence of performance dialogue to reach an agreement in determining RHK, setting expectations and assessment standards for work results and work behaviour. In addition, the predicate assessment does not show any differences in work results between teachers and cannot be used as a reference for teacher performance progress. Referring to the results of the study, the researcher recommends that teachers be more proactive in seeking information and learning independently. The researcher also recommends that the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Medan City continue to provide e-performance training, form a special performance team, build performance dialogue, quantitative/numerical form of assessment of work results and behaviour, and include curves/diagrams of improvement in performance results and behaviour in the application as a measure of performance success.
2024-12-06T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Pinta Omastri Pandiangan, Binur Panjaitan, Robert Juni Tua Sitio http://ijeth.iakntarutung.ac.id/index.php/ijeth/article/view/111 Assessment of Climate Change Awareness In Urban Versus Rural Populations: A Comparative Study 2024-12-04T09:41:02+07:00 Dennis A. De Jesus dennisdejesus035@gmail.com
In this study, the researchers explore and contrast climate change awareness in the urban and rural populations by looking into their knowledge, perception, and engagement. Using a structured survey instrument, data were collected from 500 respondents irrespective of age gender location and with equal distribution. Results indicate awareness differences, with urban respondents being more informed on the causes of climate change than the rural respondents who were more aware of the effects in their immediate environment. From the results, it can be concluded that any attempts in marketing climate change strategies needs to be targeted to the respective areas of the two groups studied. This emphasizes how critical educational and outreach programs geared towards climate change issues in specific regions are.
2024-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Dennis De Jesus http://ijeth.iakntarutung.ac.id/index.php/ijeth/article/view/113 Ethics in the New Testament Personal Relationship with God and Holiness Ethics: An Exploration of Issues in Revelation 21:3 and Revelation 21:22 2024-12-06T11:45:10+07:00 Herowati Sitorus sitorusherowati@yahoo.co.id
This article explores the ethics of holiness in the context of a personal relationship with God, as described in Revelation 21:3 and 21:22. In these verses, the emphasis on God's presence amid His people highlights the importance of the intimate relationship between man and the Creator. This research analyzes how the ethics of holiness not only serve as a moral guide but also as a consequence of a deep relationship with God. Ethics in the context of the New Testament, especially in the Book of Revelation, offers deep insight into the relationship between man and God. Revelation 21:3 and 21:22 serve as the culmination of eschatological hope, presenting the ultimate vision in which God dwells among His people. Through these two verses, we can explore how divine presence affects ethical norms and human behaviour. Through a hermeneutic approach and text analysis, this article discusses the implications of God's closeness to His people, including the ethical responsibilities that arise from such relationships. Additionally, this article considers contemporary challenges in applying holiness ethics in everyday life, as well as how these values can guide individuals to live in holiness and integrity. The conclusions of this study suggest that a deeper understanding of personal relationships with God can increase an individual's ethical awareness, strengthen a commitment to holy living, and encourage communities to create an atmosphere that reflects the values of God's Kingdom. As a result, the narrative of the restoration of the cosmic order of Christianity is not much different from the narrative of the times. But in the light of redemptive history, the tabernacle of God affirms the final expansion of Eden, the revelation of God's glory, and His fellowship with man. Therefore, a good and meaningful portrait of human life should be by the purpose of creation.
2024-12-29T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Herowati Sitorus http://ijeth.iakntarutung.ac.id/index.php/ijeth/article/view/118 Development of Christian Religious Education Learning Innovations Through the Implementation of the C3ME Model Academic Supervision 2025-01-14T08:20:41+07:00 Senida Harefa senida.harefa@gmail.com Oktober Tua Aritonang senida.harefa@gmal.com Robert Juni Tua Sitio senida.harefa@gmal.com
This research explores the idea that the C3ME model of academic supervision can help teachers increase their potential to develop learning innovations. It was concluded that the implementation of academic supervision plays an important role in improving the performance of Christian Religious Education teachers. The results of this study are useful both theoretically and practically. The novelty of this research is a comprehensive study related to child education in the book of Proverbs facing the era of society 5.0. Whereas previous studies focused more on one passage or one verse of Proverbs without linking it to the era of society 5.0 and in other sections there were studies of the era of society 5.0 but were not accompanied by biblical foundations only limited to general studies. The study presented can be used as reference material for future researchers.
2024-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Tiur Imeldawati, Binur Panjaitan, Rencan C. Marbun
