Development of Image-Based Adult Christian Religious Education Module at IAKN Tarutung

The purpose of this research is to develop a product in the form of an image-based Christian Religious Education module for older adults/seniors at IAKN Tarutung. This research is a development study that module is developed using the Dick & Carey model, which consists of five steps in research and development: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the validation from experts in content, media, and instructional design, it is concluded that the development of the image-based Christian Religious Education module for older adults/seniors at IAKN Tarutung is very feasible for use. Based on the research conducted, the evaluation results from the questionnaires administered in a one-to-one setting show a percentage of 92.22% for the RPS assessment and 96.67% for the module assessment, both of which fall into the category of very feasible for use. In a small-scale evaluation, the percentages were 87.40% for the RPS assessment and 96.11% for the module assessment, also categorized as very feasible for use. The field trial results show a percentage of 86.5% for the RPS assessment and 97% for the module assessment, again categorized as very feasible for use. This indicates that the developed image-based Christian Religious Education module for older adults/seniors at IAKN Tarutung is highly suitable for implementation. Based on the effectiveness test of the product, the students' scores in the post-test, conducted after the intervention using the developed image-based Christian Religious Education module for older adults/seniors at IAKN Tarutung, show that 95% of students achieved scores greater than 75. This means that the completion rate of students in the post-test has been reached, as more than 50% of the students achieved the learning outcomes, which is 95%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the students’ learning outcomes through the image-based Christian Religious Education module for older adults/seniors are effectively utilized in the learning process. Consequently, it can be concluded that the development of the image-based Christian Religious Education module for older adults/seniors at IAKN Tarutung is highly suitable for use.
